The ninth annual Ohio Opiate Conference: Strengthening Ohio’s Communities kicked off June 11th at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus. The conference is hosted by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with Ohio Dept.
of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. An estimated 1,200 professionals attended the conference, making it the largest opiate-related conference in the Midwest region.  Event presenters and break-out sessions focused on prevention, intervention and aftercare related to opiate addiction.
